Top of this Page Dig Into Dana Walk Panum Crater Walk: Explore one of the most recent volcanoes to rock the Eastern Sierra. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water. Meet at Panum Crater parking lot (4 miles east of Highway 395 on Highway 120). 1 hour. Last walk August 3rd. Top of this Page South Tufa Walk: Discover the mystery of Mono Lake's strange water and wildlife. Bring binoculars, water and sunscreen. Meet at the South Tufa parking lot (5 miles east of Highway 395 on Highway 120). 1.5 hours. South Tufa is a fee area; there is a $3 per adult entrance fee. Lee Vining Creek Walk: Can a riparian ecosystem rebound from decades without water? Join a naturalist for a look at the ecology & human history of Lee Vining Creek. Learn how Mono Lake and the streams that feed it are being restored. Meet in front of the Mono Lake Committee Information Center & Bookstore with water, hat, sunscreen, and binoculars for a 1.5-2-hour walk along the moderate Lee Vining Creek Trail.
